Water spots

Water spots

Treat stains as soon as possible after staining. The older the stain, the more difficult it will be to remove.

All stain removal methods should be applied prior to laundering washable garments. Stains that have been laundered and dried are almost impossible to remove.

What you will need

  • Clean absorbent towels
  • Hair dryer or fan

Steps to Clean

  1. Using a wet cloth, moisten the spotted area.
  2. Fold several paper towels until you have a stack about 1/8-inch thick.  Place them on top of the stain and weight them down with a vase or heavy pot.
  3. Point a fan or a hairdryer (on cool setting) at the stain so that the force of the air transfers the moisture to the paper towels.
