Treat stains as soon as possible after staining. The older the stain, the more difficult it will be to remove.
All stain removal methods should be applied prior to laundering washable garments. Stains that have been laundered and dried are almost impossible to remove.

Steps to Clean
Chemical solvents and supplies
- Dry cleaning solvent
- Amyl acetate
- Rubbing alcohol
- Sponge with dry cleaning solvent until no more color is being removed.
- If color remains, apply amyl acetate, tamp, flush with dry cleaning solvent, and let dry.
- If stain remains, sponge with a mixture of half water, half rubbing alcohol, and a few drops of white vinegar; test for colorfastness first – dilute alcohol for acetate or rayon, no vinegar on cotton or linen.
- Rinse.
